‘You must be Jane’ she announced. ‘Yes’ Jane responded and offered her hand. The woman ignored it; opened the door fully and stood to one side indicating that Jane should enter. The Hall way was large and Jane could see a number of doors and an impressive stair case that rose to the first floor.
